Q: What if the Conference is canceled because of Covid-19?

A: Even though the conference isn't occurring until September, that is of course a possibility.  We sincerely hope COVID-19 does not impact 2021, but our future is still uncertain. However, you can rest assured knowing that we have contracted with the hotel for 2022 and all registrations, and sponsorships will be credited and transferred to the following year. Please note, the Monarch will refund hotel deposits if they close the hotel due to pandemics or natural disasters. Please stay safe!

Q: What is the WCRC Concierge?

A: The WCRC Concierge ensures your questions, comments and concerns are heard and answered to your expectations. We understand that after being home for a year, many of us do not even remember how to iron our shirts, let alone decide which exhibit package is best. Let the WCRC concierge assist you with marketing, hotel registration and even getting the right guests to your special sponsored event.

Q: Do you provide Continuing Education Credits for Claims Examiners?

A: We are currently working with the California Department of Insurance to become accredited well before the conference. Our expectation is that a significant amount of our sessions will qualify for credits. As soon as we are accredited, we will update our website to reflect what sessions will provide accreditation.  

Q: Can I reserve a room at the Monarch and not register?

A: We have an exclusive arrangement with the Monarch, so from September 7th through September 10th are solely for registered attendees of the WCRC Conference. The Monarch hotel reservation system will cancel rooms that do not have a WCRC registration connected with them.

Q: There are so many conferences this year. Why budget for this one?

A: Our goal and ongoing commitment is to make this conference a one-of-a-kind experience.  We have assembled a best-in-class board to to make this vision a reality. We are integrating the best of everything to make this conference educational, inspirational and truly connective.  We promise to give it everything we have, so when you leave you will be taking something memorable with you.  

Q: If I own my own company, do I qualify for the Risk rate?  

A: While we would love to offer a discount to all business owners, unfortunately the risk rate is limited to national companies with specific titles-   Directors of Risk Mgmt. & Insurance, Risk Managers, HR Manager/Director, EH&S Managers, W/C Managers, Disability Managers, Claims Managers, Senior Claims Adjusters, Corporate Compliance & Safety Manager. After your registration is complete our staff will review the information provided to ensure that everything is complete and accurate.  

Q: Can I get a copy of the Attendee list?

A: Absolutely, all registered guests will receive a copy of the attendee list by August.  If you need a real time update of the list just let us know. Of course, our sponsors will be listed on our website throughout the year, so make sure you check by often.

Q: When can I view the final Agenda?

A: Our Agenda is constantly being updated with sessions, sponsors, special events and speakers. Currently, we are working with 3 different Ted Talk keynote speakers, round tabling 30 different session topics to make it the best conference yet. All session and event confirmations will promptly be added to our website and many changes will be announced.

Q: What does Sponsoring a Session mean?

A: The WCRC Conference sessions are what we do best. We are actively working with carriers, and employers in all areas of RISK to find out what it is they want to know the most about. We also have a network of experts in all industry subjects. But collaboration is key. We would like your input to select the perfect panel of experts, and manage the session. Finally, we hand you a microphone to moderate, and get the audience ready for an amazing interactive session designed by you.

Q: I cannot find the Exhibit Booth on the Sponsor Page. Where is it?

A: Our apologies, it is not there. The WCRC is primarily focused on bringing people together to engage and connect. Unfortunately, the previous years' exhibit booths did not seem to achieve this goal. We have since revamped the exhibit hall by focusing on  genuine interaction and offering you an opportunity to sponsor a WCRC Exhibition Lounge. These are located through the conference such as the lobby bar (yes, a lobby bar) and/or ballroom. Your new friends and clients will have the best seat in the house during our special events such as the keynote speech and black tie event.

Q: Some of the Sponsorships say “contact WCRC” What does this mean?

A: We have some truly amazing event ideas that can't be described in just a few words. These require coordination with the hotel, catering, and our WCRC Concierge service to ensure your event is custom tailored to your exact needs. Connect with us early on so we can ensure your event is everything you want and more.

Q: How do I pick the location of my sponsor lounge?

A: Once your purchase is confirmed and payment is received, we will email you a diagram of potential spaces throughout the hotel. Spaces are limited and will be reserved on a first come first serve basis. 

Q: How do I network with new people?

A: Become a WCRC Social Sponsor. At the WCRC, we know that conferences can be difficult to navigate sometimes. So, we are here to help in any way we can. Contact concierge services and we will not only organize your WCRC Social Sponsor Event but connect you with the people you want to network with.

Q: Can sponsorships be split up between vendors, invoiced in payments or customized?

A: Yes, yes and definitely yes! We couldn't do it without you, so at the WCRC we go out of our way to show you just how much we care. Please contact us so we can assist you with finding exactly the right sponsorship opportunity.  The one that best fits your budget and brand.
