General FAQ's

Q:  Can I purchase a Golf or Conference Registration on-site?

A: To make the registration process seamless, we advise that you register through our website. However, those who would like to register day-of can purchase a pass on-site.

Q:  Do I have to be a registered conference attendee to join the Golf Tournament?

A: No. Anyone who has a love for golf is welcome to join the tournament.

Q:  There are so many conferences this year. Why budget for this one?

A: Our goal and ongoing commitment is to make this conference a one-of-a-kind experience, so when you leave you will be taking something memorable with you.  We have assembled a best-in-class board to make this vision a reality. We are integrating the best of everything to make this conference educational, inspirational and truly connective.

Q:  Can I get a copy of the Attendee list?

A: Absolutely. All registered attendees will receive a copy of the attendee list by August and a final copy after the conference has concluded.

Q:  When can I view the final Agenda?

A: Our Agenda is constantly being updated with sessions, speakers and special events. All session and event confirmations will be promptly added to our website. A final agenda will also be available in our booklet at the conference.

Q:  Is the Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort offering any deals on hotel rooms?

A: We have an exclusive arrangement with the Monarch, from September 5th through September 9th that offers discounted hotel rooms solely for registered attendees of the WCR Conference. 

Q:  Is there a minimum stay requirement for the Monarch? 

A: Yes. A four (4) night minimum stay is required for guests arriving on Monday, September 5th, with departure on Friday, September 9th. A three (3) night minimum stay is required for guests arriving on Tuesday, September 6th, with departure on Friday, September 9th

Q: What is your Refund Policy?

A: All Conference sales are final. The WCRC will not be issuing refunds for cancellations of any kind, but instead will hold your registration or sponsorship for the following 2023 conference. Conference Registrations can also be transferred to another representative from your company up to 7 days prior to the conference.

Hotel room bookings may be refunded (except for the one-night non-refundable deposit and tax) up to 24 days prior to the Conference. After that, guests will be charged the full portion of their stay.

Sponsorship FAQ's 

Q: What does Sponsoring a Session mean?

A: The WCRC Conference sessions are what we do best. We are actively working with carriers, and employers in all areas of RISK to find out what it is they want to know the most about. We also have a network of experts in all industry subjects. But collaboration is key. We would like your input to select the perfect panel of experts, and manage the session. Finally, we hand you a microphone to moderate, and get the audience ready for an amazing interactive session designed by you.

Q: I cannot find the Exhibit Booth on the Sponsor Page. Where is it?

A: The WCRC is primarily focused on bringing people together to engage and connect. We have revamped the exhibit hall by focusing on  genuine interaction and offering you an opportunity to sponsor a WCRC Lounge. These are located in the Pacific Ballroom, Rotunda and Pacific Prominade. Your new friends and clients will have the best seats in the house during our special events. 

Q: I have a few questions about the sponsorships. Who can I contact?

A:  Connect with Kellie Sheehan at admin@thewcrc.com and she can answer your questions and make sure that your sponsorship can be tailored to your needs.

Q: Are there sponsorship options for me if my budget is smaller?

A: Don't worry! This year we wanted to make sure there is a sponsorship opportunity for everyone. If you're not looking for a lounge or a sponsored hotel display, we are launching our new media sponsorships this year. You have the choice of displaying your ad either on our website or on-site conference booklet.

Q: How do I pick the location of my sponsor lounge?

A: We are working on implementing a interactive map that will allow users to select their own location in real time, but until that software is added, once your purchase is confirmed and payment is received, we will email you a diagram of spaces remaining. Spaces are limited and will be reserved on a first come first serve basis. 

Q: Can sponsorships be split up between vendors, invoiced in payments or customized?

A: Yes, yes and definitely yes! We couldn't do it without you, so at the WCRC we go out of our way to show you just how much we care. Please contact us so we can assist you with finding exactly the right sponsorship opportunity.  The one that best fits your budget and brand. 

Q:  Are any amenities included in my sponsorship? 

A: Yes, Of Course!
